Los Angeles residents wake up to hellish skies and charred houses

Los Angeles residents woke up Wednesday to the aftermath of several fires that continue to burn across the city. At least two people have died and dozens more have been injured.

The video shows a resident watching his house burn, comparing his neighborhood to driving through a “war zone.”

Los Angeles Fire Chief Kristin Crowley says the four ongoing fires (Palisades, Eaton, Hurst and Woodley) are 0% contained and are “stretching” first responders to their limits. The Palisades fire, which broke out Tuesday morning, has burned more than 1,000 structures, officials say.
