Last year, William reflected on his difficult year after Kate and his father, King Charles IIIwere treated for cancer.

In December, Kate held her annual ‘Together at Christmas’ carol concert and dedicated herself to her fight for health. “I didn’t know this year was going to be the year I just had,” she told the singer Paloma Faith. “Unplanned. But I think a lot of people have had such trying times this year.”
December 25 Princess of Wales spoke about his battle with cancer while talking to royal enthusiasts after the Christmas Day service at Sandringham.
“The amount of people who have written this year is extraordinary and I think cancer really resonates with so many families,” Kate said, according to footage obtained by Daily Mail.
Addressing a fan who worked in a cancer ward, Kate continued: ‘People like you do all the hard work there. I am extremely grateful.”
After one woman told Kate: “We’re all behind you, never forget that,” the princess replied with a smile: “Thank you so much, (that’s) so kind.”
