Residents return to burned homes as Los Angeles fires continue

Los Angeles residents are returning to their homes to assess the damage and destruction left by fires burning simultaneously in the region.

Firefighters have been unable to contain some of the fires, as relentless winds continue.

The Pacific Palisades fire, now known as the city’s most destructive, has destroyed more than 1,000 buildings.
