After thousands of houses burned down and many more people were evacuated from their homes from areas throughout Los Angeles this week Stone, 66, shared a post via her Instagram on Wednesday, January 8, an appeal for clothing donations.
Sharing a clip showing The Coop distribution center on Beverly Boulevard in Los Angeles, Stone urged her followers to follow her lead in donating “gently used” clothing to “people who have been displaced and affected by the fires.” She added that those affected can “shop” at The Coop for clothing.
Berry (58) obeyed the call and forwarded the clip through her own Instagram accountshe announced that she would also check in with donations.

“I’m packing my whole closet and heading to the COOP!” If you live in the Southern California area, I encourage you to do the same,” the actress captioned the post. “This is something we can do today to help all the displaced families who need the basics today! Thank you @sharonstone for your guidance. I love you lady ❤️”
In response, Pfeiffer, 66, expressed her desire to donate, asking in the comments section: “Can I do it tomorrow?”
Meanwhile, Stone appeared on NewsNation on Wednesday night and shared more information about The Coop.
“My sister and another columnist friend of ours opened up a store, working with a store on Beverly Boulevard,” she said. “It’s called The Coop, so if you have gently used clothes, shoes, bedding, anything that these disenfranchised people might need, please come to The Coop first thing tomorrow morning and you can drop them off.”
She added: “If you need anything, come to The Coop. This is for people who need any of these things, come there. You can get them here, it’s a distribution center.”

“I took friends to my house. Families are coming to move in with us. We are establishing a place where we will be able to help people. We’re making beds and just a room in the house,” Stone said. “We load up trucks and take everything we have to The Coop and invite our friends to move in. A lot of people are being evacuated.”

An estimated 9,000 homes were damaged or destroyed in the fires, officials said The Guardian. Since Tuesday, the fires have ravaged parts of the exclusive Pacific Palisades, Malibu, Santa Monica and Hollywood Hills areas. Celebrities included Billy Crystal, Mandy Moore and Paris Hilton they are among those who lost their homes due to the fires.
Hollywood has also canceled a lot of events in recent days, including premieres The Last Show Girl, Wolf Man and Jennifer Lopez Unstoppable and The Critics Choice Awards, among others.
