On Thursday, January 9, Hilton, 43, shared a video via Instagram of her visiting what was left of her home, showing the devastation caused by the fires that started on Tuesday, January 7. ravaged parts of LAincluding Pacific Palisades, Malibu and Hollywood Hills.

“This house wasn’t just a place to live – It was a place where we dreamed, laughed and made the most beautiful memories as a family. It was a place where Phoenix’s little hands made art that I will cherish forever, where love and life filled every corner. To see it destroyed in ashes… it’s devastating beyond words,” she continued, referring to son Phoenix, who will be two this month. In the caption, Hilton shared her sympathies with other Los Angeles residents who lost their homes, noting, “It’s not just the walls and roofs — it’s the memories that make these houses homes. They are photographs, souvenirs, irreplaceable parts of our lives.”
However, the former reality star and DJ admitted she was “unbelievably lucky”.
