While season 3 Special Forces: The World’s Toughest Test started with 16 contestants, only a few have what it takes to make it to the end of the competition.
In the reality show, which features celebrities trying out the tasks that real United States special forces have to complete in order to become part of the military, the contestants advance passing a series of tests — or turn the arm band to signify their voluntary departure from the series.
While attempting tasks in Wales, England, Stephen Baldwin became the first contestant of season 3 withdraw from the competition. Father of Hailey Bieber he successfully jumped from a speeding boat onto a speeding helicopter and climbed into the helicopter – but claimed he was injured in the process.
“I tore my meniscus in the helicopter today and my back is in knots and I can’t turn my head there,” Baldwin said in an interview with the doctor on duty.
After Baldwin explained that he “couldn’t get hurt” before an appearance he had lined up after the show, special forces agents removed him from the series. “None. 5, you failed this course and you failed alone. Go,” the staff said.

Baldwin pulled out of the competition fearing injury after claiming to have “shattered” his meniscus on a helicopter.
After Fedotowsky injured her hand, a doctor recommended she get an X-ray – leading to her withdrawal from the competition in the second episode.
Richards took off the band after claiming she had injured her back and wanted to sit out the punishing Navy SEAL exercise known as the surf dive in the second episode.
