Bill Hader he had a very good reason why he wasn’t at the 2025 Golden Globes with his girlfriend Ali Wong.

And I know this sounds crazy, but, uh, I want you to be my girlfriend.”
Wong confided that while she was on tour in Europe, Hader sent her flowers in several cities. While her female friends thought the gesture was “so sweet,” her male friends warned her that Hader might be a “psycho.”
“That’s how cheap and lazy men became,” joked Wong. “That now, when a fellow man commits any act of kindness, any romantic gesture, it must be a symptom of undiagnosed mental illness.”
