(Reuters) – Meta Platforms (NASDAQ: ) and Amazon.com (NASDAQ: ) have joined a growing number of US companies in reducing their diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI), which aimed at strengthening racial and ethnic representation in the workplace against them. the backdrop of rising pressure from traditional groups.
At least six major US companies, including JPMorgan Chase (NYSE:), have changed their DEI policies in the past year, according to a Reuters review of corporate statements.
Here is a list of companies that have left the DEI program or made tweaks to some of the policies in 2024:

Starbucks (NASDAQ:) In March, the coffee giant’s shareholders voted
for a reduced executive compensation plan

Ford Motor (NYSE: ) The automaker said it will change its DEI
program, including ending participation in
LGBTQ advocacy group ranking system.
Molson Coors (NYSE: ) brewer said it will stop participating
