Goose bumps the horrors kept coming but after that unexpected twist in the anthology – what does this mean for season 3?
“When we moved into an anthology, it really came in handy Goose bumps is. So if you’re a fan of the books, you know RL Stine he doesn’t write happily ever after at the end of books,” executive producer Rob Letterman exclusively speaking My Weekly. “He’s actually trying not to. It leaves it with a cliffhanger or a twist.”
Disney+ series adapted the same approach on the screen. “When we looked at the end of Season 1, it felt like the perfect, goosebump ending for what the story was,” Letterman said of the story’s second season switch.

“In the second season, we wanted to swing the pendulum and do something different. But we also wanted fans of the first season to feel comfortable in the model of what the narrative was. So we kept the structure of the mystery that we have to unpack,” Letterman said Our. “We liked this framing device, but we wanted to say something completely new and fresh. It’s a nice balancing act to maintain familiarity Goose bumps The TV series runs like an anthology.”
The second volume was published on Friday 11th January and drew inspiration from several books including Stay Out of the Basement, The Ghost Next Door, The Boy Who Cried Monster, Blood of the Monster and Scary car. While the main group of friends — which was formed Elijah M. Cooper, Galilea La Salvia, Francesca Noel, Stony BlydenMcCarthy and Bartels – were able to defeat evil, the season still indicated that the sinister parts in the game were still a threat.
So will Season 3 be able to answer any questions viewers were left with after the finale? “We don’t think that far into the future. We’re a one-day-at-a-time process,” Letterman noted Our. “But yes, of course, and you can do whatever you want with Goosebumps. That’s what’s great about it.”

According to Letterman and his fellow executive producer Hilary WinstonPUSH can even be a Goose bumps “multiverse.” Meanwhile, the cast also considered returning for future episodes despite signing up for the anthology show.
“There are so many stories and it really depends on what the fans want and how they respond,” Noel suggested Our. “We’re here for that.” We love these characters and of course I think the last season loved their characters as well. The world is big and we are here to play.”
