Candice and Brandon were best known for showing off their seemingly extravagant lifestyles online through the now-defunct mother-of-two’s ‘Mama & Tata’ blog and Instagram account. In previous posts, Candice has highlighted the family’s various trips on multi-million dollar yachts, private jets and more.

But after Brandon’s death, court documents were obtained The New York Times revealed in December 2024 that the late real estate mogul was $33.6 million in debt at the time of his death. According to Candice, her husband died intestate, leaving her with huge debts and only $8,000 in her bank account, according to the social media star.

As My Weekly previously announced that Candice “at first deactivated her social networks following” after Brandon’s death and in court documents obtained by The New York Timesshe claimed she owed $20 million in unsecured loans from various banks.

That same year, Candice was also sued for unpaid rent of $195,000 on the couple’s Manhattan apartment. Documents obtained by the company Our at the time, she claimed the influencer hadn’t paid, while Candice’s lawyers argued she wasn’t responsible for the payments because her name wasn’t on the apartment’s lease.

Earlier this year, Candice reportedly began auctioning off her husband’s belongings Page Six report published on January 3. According to the outlet, several items were listed on the Auction Ninja website that featured an “exclusive curated online auction” at the Mecox Bay Water Mill Estate.

According to Saturday’s report from Page SixCandice doesn’t shop regularly, but instead lives a relatively quiet life compared to her former posh online persona. She was reportedly out on Halloween with her kids, and even though her life has changed exponentially, she has reportedly not changed either – she just lives a quiet, quiet life.

The report also describes Miami as the perfect place for Candice to start over, in part because it’s full of people who will embrace the former social media influencer.
