Ashley Tisdale opens up about the toll the ongoing wildfires in Los Angeles are taking on her mental health.

“Because of my mental health, there are times in my life where I feel very alone, even when I go out to dinner with friends,” Tisdale, 39, wrote in an emotional post shared through her. Instagram Stories on Saturday, January 11.

“This experience has shown me how many amazing people I have in my life and I’m far from alone,” she continued. “The amount of people checking up on each other is so amazing. In the dark times, you realize you have each other. The human connection is not lost. Shout out to the mom group that’s been there through the highs and lows.”

Tisdale went on to tag several of her friends in the post, including Hilary Duff, Mandy Moore and Meghan Trainor.

In another candid post, Tisdale also opened up about how difficult it is to be a parent during such a heartbreaking time.

“It’s all too much,” she wrote as he announced Fun tonight. “I’m trying to be a parent to my two kids when I’m scared as hell to call my own parents. I’m traumatized.”

Tisdale and her husband Christopher French have two daughters, Jupiter Iris and Emerson Clover.

At least 16 people have died in five wildfires burning around Los Angeles, according to local officials, who stressed that the death toll is likely to rise as search and recovery efforts continue. According to NBC newsthe former burned at least 37,000 acres and destroyed or severely damaged more than 12,000 structures. Thousands of residents were forced to leave their homes under mandatory evacuation orders.

Tisdale’s BFF Moore, 40, has also been vocal on social media about the devastating fires and how they’re affecting her and her family, including her in-laws, who she says lost their home in the flames.

“We were able to park and walk down our street to witness all of the loss,” Moore wrote Instagram post on Friday January 11th “The main part of our house is miraculously still standing. For now.”

“It’s not habitable, but mostly intact,” Moore continued. “We lost Taylor and Griffin’s studio with all the instruments and equipment they ever owned. We lost the garage and the back house. Everyone we know has lost everything. Every house on our street is gone. My in laws. My brother and sister-in-law – 6 weeks since welcoming their first baby. Our best friends. A strange sense of survivor’s guilt. We love this community and will do everything we can to help rebuild and support. Thank you all for checking us out and offering to help. Altadena strong.”
