Beyonce shows its support for people affected by this disease Fires in Los Angeles.

The star’s BeyGood Foundation shared via Instagram on Sunday, January 12, that he will donate $2.5 million to the newly established LA Fire Relief Fund.

“Los Angeles, we stand with you. 🫶🏽,” the post began.

“The fund is earmarked to help families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who have lost their homes and churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of people affected by the wildfires,” the nonprofit said.

“To show your support for affected families and learn more about BeyGOOD’s mission, please visit https://beygood.org” added the post.

Fires sparked by Santa Ana wind gusts displaced many residents of Los Angeles and ravaged houses belonging to celebrities as they began to spread on Tuesday, January 7th. Stars included Paris Hilton, Billy Crystal and Anna Faris they lost their homes.

last week Jamie Lee Curtis pledged $1 million to help efforts.

“My family is donating $1 million today to help,” Curtis, 66, shared on Thursday, Jan. 9, in an Instagram post. “We are in contact with the governor. (Gavin) Newsommayor (Karen) Bass guitarand a senator (Adam) Schiff and I will write often about where you can send the necessary resources to reputable agencies.”

Curtis shared a similar message in the caption of the post, writing, “My husband, I and our children have pledged $1 million from our family foundation to establish a support fund for our great city and state and the great people who live and love them. Curtis’ donation comes one day after she became emotional while discussing the wildfires during an appearance The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. “I’m literally in tears,” she said at the start of her interview on Wednesday, January 8.

“As you know, the place where I live is on fire right now. The entire town of Pacific Palisades is literally on fire,” she continued. “I flew here last night. I was on a plane and I started getting messages and it sucks guys. It’s just a disaster in Southern California. Obviously, there have been terrible fires in a lot of places (but) I literally live here.”
