Japan, Philippines, US vow to deepen cooperation, says Manila via Reuters


MANILA (Reuters) – The Philippines, the United States and Japan have vowed to improve and deepen trilateral ties between their countries, Manila said on Monday after a meeting between their leaders.

Philippine President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. met almost US President Joe Biden and Japanese Prime Minister Shigeru Ishiba on Monday morning from Manila.

“I am confident that our three countries will continue to work closely together to sustain the achievements we have made to strengthen and deepen our ties,” Marcos said during the meeting.
