When Batman Foreverr Released in 1995, I have never been so excited for a movie in my life. Like most people, I was a huge fan of his Tim Burton’s Batman and loved Batman returns but also a few years later. So when I heard that the Caped Crusader would be playing Two-Face and the Riddler in the third film starring Jim Carrey and Tommy Lee Jones, I was bouncing off the walls. For a 15-year-old, at least in the 1990s, that kind of expectation usually meant buying a movie toy.
Finally Batman Forever didn’t quite deliver like the Burton filmshowever Joel Schumacher‘s acid trip was nevertheless memorable. And the toys in the movie were a big part of that. The action figures were sleek and cool, and the new Batmobile was bold and distinctive. Now it’s all coming back thanks to Spin Masters. Available exclusively at Target, there’s a new Batmobile set and action figures from the sequel to the 1995 Bat movie. Here are some close-ups.
The Batman Forever Batmobile & Batman Collection Set $30 and currently available at Target.com. Here are the individual numbers.
The action figures cost $9 each and are available in-store if you can find them. And if you can, it might be worth a shot Batman Forever soundtrack (another piece of the puzzle that makes a movie memorable) or keeping Gotham City with your kids or displaying them on a shelf for all to see.
Do you have memories of these toys? So Batman Forever as a whole? Are you a Val Kilmer apologist? Or was Kilmer to blame for replacing Michael Keaton? Let us know below.
