Kyle Richards‘ text messages with PK Kemsley she didn’t start her feud Dorit Kemsleybut it doesn’t help women mend fences.
January 7 episode RHOBA ended with the two women yelling at each other after it was revealed that Kyle had been texting PK after his separation from Dorit. The fight bled over at the beginning of the Tuesday, Jan. 14 episode, when Kyle addressed her texts to PK several times — but never directly to Dorit.
At one point during Tuesday’s episode, Kyle read Eric Jayne, Sutton Stracke and Garcelle Beauvais the exact text that PK sent after his breakup announcement was made public.
“I know you have a lot of friends, but I’m one too and I’m here if you need me. I have never repeated anything you have shared with me and never have. (That means you can always trust me),” the text read. “He’ll keep sending memes and he won’t forget the laughing emoticons.”
The other woman weighed in during their respective confessions.
“Wait, this isn’t just about memes and jokes. That’s serious talk,” Sutton said.
“So they shared things about Dorit or the relationship(s) or whatever that no one else knows about,” Garcelle added. “All this time, Kyle really defends that it’s just memes. It’s not all true.”
Garcelle ended up paraphrasing Kyle’s text to the newbie Bozeman St. John and a preview for next week’s episode showed Bozeman asking Kyle to “please” read the text PK sent.
“And that’s all I said. I’m done now. I won’t feel like I did anything wrong,” Kyle said through tears in the clip. he spoke directly to Dorit. “I love you and your family. F- everyone, I’m done with this s-. I don’t do that anymore.”
Kyle said before My Weekly exclusive in November 2024 about leaving and RHOBA set — which was teased in season 14 trailer.
“Mainly the scene, the leaving. I just don’t feel like I was myself and I don’t feel like I was strong enough,” she confided. “Honestly, to do the series at the time, I really needed a woman to be there for me and support me. And obviously, I didn’t feel that at all, so it just made my situation worse.”
During the interview with The Hollywood Reporter posted on Tuesday, Kyle went on to explain how she regrets the moment.
“I regretted how I handled it, but I didn’t leave. I just didn’t have it in me anymore. I was at the point where I was so depressed, honestly. I’m not one to get depressed,” Kyle explained. “I’ve had anxiety all my life, but I’ve never had depression, and I really felt like I was struggling with depression, and I expressed that.” And I just felt like I couldn’t go into scenarios all the time and have everyone jump on me.”
