Emma Heming Willis shared a rare video of her actor husband Bruce Willis thanking rescuers amid the wildfires in Los Angeles.
The short black-and-white video, shared on Instagram on Thursday, January 16, showed Bruce in a hat and corduroy jacket as he chatted with officers on the street.
Chatting with the men in blue, Bruce can be seen shaking hands as one of the officers is seen telling the actor: “We appreciate you.”
“When I spotted a first responder,” Emma captioned the video, “Bruce never missed a chance to show his gratitude with a hearty handshake and ‘thank you for your service.’
“Yesterday,” Emma said, “was no different.
Bruce’s daughter in the comments section Tallulah Willis he wrote, “My heart is so crazy full.”
“He’s a really amazing person – can’t take that away from him,” added another commenter.
One viewer wrote: “Such a beautiful caring man. They will also appreciate it very much.”
The video comes as Los Angeles continues to battle ongoing wildfires.
In February 2023, the Willis family shared messages from Bruce’s frontotemporal dementia diagnosis.
Since then, the actor has largely stayed out of the limelight, appearing every now and then in a photo shared on one of his daughters’ Instagram pages.
Bruce is the father of a 36-year-old Rumer Willis33 years old Scout Willisand Tallulah, 30, whom he shares with his actress ex-wife Demi Moore.
He is also father to 12-year-old Mabel and 10-year-old Evelyn, who he shares with wife Emma.
During September chat with Hoda Kotb and Savannah Guthrie on TodayTallulah explained that “it’s hard” to watch her father deal with frontotemporal dementia, an incurable, rare brain disorder that affects the frontal and temporal lobes.
“There are painful days, but there is so much love,” Tallulah said. “And it really showed me that I don’t take any moment for granted and I really think we would be best friends.” I think he’s very proud of me.”
