Getty Images (3)Wildfires continue to burn in the Los Angeles area, destroying thousands of acres and forcing even more people from their homes. While relief efforts are underway, some of Hollywood’s most prominent stars are coming together to help those in need.
The Eaton and Pacific Palisades fireswhich burn simultaneously, are already two of the top five the most devastating fires in California history, according to CNN. At least 24 people have died, with the number expected to rise as firefighters continue to search through the rubble.
The Pacific Palisades fire has influenced dozens of celebritiesdestroying homes in wealthy neighborhoods and forcing many to evacuate. Paris Hilton, Anna Faris, Billy Crystal and Mel Gibson he is among the stars whose houses burned down.
But many — even those who have been evacuated or lost everything — are stepping up to help their fellow Angelenos. Celebrities from film, sports, music and more have come forward to donate their time, money and supplies.

BeyGood foundation Beyonce donated $2.5 million to the newly established LA Fire Relief Fund.
“Los Angeles, we stand with you. 🫶🏽” wrote the fund via Instagram. “The fund is earmarked to help families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who have lost their homes and churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.”
The day after an emotional performance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallonin which she said “everything” in her community was destroyed, the Halloween actress donated $1 million for forest fire relief.
“My husband, I and our children have pledged $1 million from our family foundation to establish a fund of support for our great city and state and the great people who live and love it,” she wrote on Instagram. (Curtis shares daughters Annie, 34, and Ruby, 25, with her husband, Christopher Guest.)
Longoria donated $50,000 to This Is About Humanity, which benefits families and workers affected by the fires. She also pledged $1 million through her Latino Community Fund and the California Community Foundation.
Gad, who published his memoirs, In Gad We Trust: A Tell-Someannounced on Tuesday, January 14th that he would be donating a portion of the proceeds from his book to several organizations to benefit wildfire relief.
He added in an appearance on Today’s show on the same day he knows at least 15 families who lost their homes.
“I would encourage all of you, if you get a chance, go to my Instagram: I’ve posted links where you can donate now, like $10, whatever helps,” Gad added. “There are so many people, animals (and) children affected by this tragedy.”
Hilton launched a $100,000 emergency fund for bushfire victims and pledged to match up to an additional $100,000 in donations. She announced Tuesday that she has raised $800,000 so far and pledged another $150,000 to the GoFundMe Wildfire Relief Fund.
Jenner announced that she is making an unspecified donation to the California Fire Foundation Wildfire & Disaster Relief Fund.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex did unspecified monetary gift through their Archewell Foundation and volunteered their time to staff the World Central Kitchen and distribute food to those affected in the area.
Hewitt has teamed up with two nonprofits, BFFs and Babes and Baby2Baby, to sell her Love Angeles clothing line. All proceeds will go to Baby2Baby, which helps provide supplies, including diapers, food, nutrition and water, to children affected by the fires.
“I need to do something with all this pain in my heart,” she wrote on Instagram. “My friend @bffsandbabes said let’s take what’s on your heart and do it. Love Angeles is now yours to buy and support @baby2baby”
The rock band has pledged $2.5 million to FireAid, a benefit concert to be held Jan. 30 at the Intuit Dome. Proceeds from the concert will go to an organization created to help restore infrastructure in Los Angeles. According to CNN, an estimated 12,300 structures were damaged or destroyed as of Wednesday, January 15.
Freeman and his wife Chelsea each donating $100,000 to the Los Angeles Firefighters Foundation, the Pasadena Fire Department and the Salvation Army. Chelsea also announced that she will make matching donations to Pasadena Humane, which cares for pets affected by the wildfires.
Metallica’s All Within My Hands Foundation is donating $500,000 to support the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund and the Pasadena Community Foundation’s Eaton Canyon Fire Relief and Recovery Fund.
“Numbers cannot express the magnitude of the anguish as the disaster threatens families and destroys livelihoods,” the band said in a statement.
DiCaprio announced via Instagram that he was donating $1 million to “support emergency needs and recovery efforts following the fire.”
“The initial aid will immediately benefit the LA Fire Department Foundation, California Fire Foundation, World Central Kitchen, California Community Foundation, Pasadena Humane Society and SoCal Fire Fund – organizations on the front lines providing much-needed resources and people, animals and communities that need it the most,” he added.
