Nick Viall and his wife Natalie Joyshed light on why they chose not to address past speculation that she was unfaithful.

Speculation grew when Harry Jowsey referenced the theories in an Instagram comment as a way to applaud Viall for discussing his Netflix appearance A perfect match on the “Viall Files” podcast.
“Can’t keep my dick out of my mouth 😂,” Jowsey, 27, wrote in June 2024. “A 50 year old man who slanders people in their 20s should be more focused on how his wife is cheating on him and correcting him.” that you then worry about me 😂😂.”
While Viall didn’t address the speculation directly, he did discuss the “rumors” during an appearance on the “Lady Gang” podcast that month.
“I’m aware of a lot of rumors about me. And I know I don’t know more about 90 percent because I don’t read it,” he said. “I don’t read my own press. I don’t read my comments. I’m not on Reddit – I don’t actively stay away from it. And I’m just not aware of the things people say.’

During a more recent interview with Bustle, a former bachelor reflected on the criticism of their romance, sharing that he had previously not accepted the pair’s 18-year age difference.
“When we started dating, I was very conscious of the age difference,” Viall said Bustle. “But I didn’t want to be so confident that I didn’t allow (our relationship).
Viall explained that he believes people should protect their own “energy” above everything else in life.
“When people tell me I’m (hated), it hurts my feelings. … But I have the ability to not go down a rabbit hole and try to justify myself to someone I’ve never met,” Viall said. “That really helped us, you know? (Especially) as new parents – how do we best use our energy?
