Fallon, 50, recalled how he was once surprised by the condition of Kotb’s purse, saying, “It looks like a file folder. It looked like my father’s old wallet.”
Guthrie continued to poke fun at Kotb, noting how she sometimes chooses to use a plastic bag over her purse at red carpet events. “And the Ziploc (bag), which is clear, will have a banana and a tampon (in it),” she said.

You know who shows up for everyone? This girl. … He’s at peace, he’s still at peace and I love you,” she gushed into the air. “Craig, I’m so happy for you. You earned this, you own this, and come Monday at 7am, I’ll be dead asleep. But you will be fantastic. You bring it home. Craig, you will be so good. You and Savannah will be magicians.”
