Travis Kelce opened up about his relationship with Taylor Swiftrevealing how she has been a positive force in his NFL career.
Kelce, 35, he was melting over Swift35, during the interview on “The Stephen A. Smith Show,” which aired on Wednesday 15 January.
“He fully encourages me to enjoy playing this game,” Kelce said. “He loves going to Arrowhead (Stadium) and going to the games and cheering me on, so I’ve got all the support in the world to keep chasing those dreams.”
He continued: “I personally think the beauty of a very strong relationship is that you get the support to go in and focus on your craft, focus on being the best version of you.”
Support goes both ways in their relationship. “That’s why I wanted to be at (her) concerts, support her and be there for her, make sure she feels comfortable and supported in everything she does in life,” gushed Kelce.
Elsewhere in the conversation, the Kansas City Chiefs were addressed speculation about when he will retiresaying that his opinion on the subject “changes every day”.
“I’ll reassess like I always do and probably say how much I love this thing and come back next year,” he said. “But it’s just something you have to keep in perspective, and I never want to get to the point where I’m not helping this team win or I’m hurting them more than I’m helping them.”
This isn’t the first time Kelce has spoken openly about the prospect of retirement. talk to KMBC 9 in June 2024, the soccer star said he “can’t put a time frame on that.”

“I love going to work every day and doing this. I’m going to do this until the wheels fall off, and I hope that doesn’t happen anytime soon,” he added.
Kelce and Swift were first linked in July 2023 when Kelce revealed his “New Heights” podcast that he tried to give Swift a friendship bracelet with his phone number on it Eras Tour in Kansas City. Although Kelce did not meet Swift at the time, the pair later bonded and their relationship was made public when Swift attended a Chiefs vs. Chicago Bears in September 2023.
Since then, the couple has continued to publicly support each other, with Swift attending several Chiefs games — including the 2024 Super Bowl. Kelce, for his part, has attended several of Swift’s shows and even appeared on stage Eras Tour last summer in London.
