Ringo Starr and wife Barbara Bach they’ve been happily together since the 1980s.
The couple met on the set of their 1980 film, Barbarian. Before they got together, Starr (real name Richard Starkey) was previously married Maureen Cox from 1965 to 1975. Ex share three children: Zak, Jason and Lee.
Bach married an Italian businessman AugustoCount Gregorini of Savignano di Romagna in 1966. During their marriage, Bach welcomed a daughter, Francesca, and a son, Gianni. They divorced in 1975.
Despite hooking up during the skit, Starr and Bach didn’t begin their romance until filming was almost over.
“The truth is we weren’t together until the end of the year. Barbarian. We got along well at work, but we each had different people, our own friends,” Bach said in a 1981 interview for Playboy. “Then all of a sudden during the week – the last week of filming – it happened. We changed from friendly love to infatuation.’
A year later, Starr and Bach tied the knot in London. They have been side by side ever since.

Starr and Bach met on the set of their film Barbarian. The Beatles the drummer was played by the prehistoric man Atouk, while Bach portrayed Lana, one of his love interests.

Both attended the premiere of the documentary The Beatles: Eight Days a Week – The Touring. Starr and Bach were joined on the red carpet by McCartney and his wife, Nancy Shevell.

Starr and Bach performed at the film’s London premiere If these walls could sing. The documentary, made by McCartney’s daughter Mary, told the history of Abbey Road Studios and featured cameos from McCartney, Starr and other A-List musicians.
The duo reunited with Paul and Shevelle during Paris Fashion Week to support them Stella McCartney‘s show.
Bach and Starr celebrated the 11th anniversary of Ringo’s Peace & Love Birthday Celebration in Los Angeles.
