Season 3 Traitors Were almost caught scheming not once but many times.
During an exclusive interview with My Weeklycompetitive – and loyal – Chrishell Stause he recalled numerous close calls for cloaked individuals Traitors.
“To be honest with you, there’s two moments where they’re in that hidden little bar,” Chrishell, 43, shared of the hit Peacock series. “There’s a part where they cut the (third) episode. But I remember another part. I remember being in that room and thinking, ‘Wait, I heard the door click.'”
Chrishell almost got into the raid, adding: “I remember trying to push in and trying to get in but it wouldn’t let me in. So I thought to myself: ‘Either someone is holding it from the other side, or it’s locked. ‘”
She continued: “Honestly, a couple of times I don’t think they might have caught them by the skin of their teeth. As you can see – because I wasn’t in that room – there are other instances where something happens early in the episode that (inspires) suspicion. I remember us thinking, ‘I wasn’t there, but somebody heard something.'”
Season 3, which premiered earlier this month, began with Bob the Drag Queen, Danielle Reyes and Carolyn Wiger as Traitors. By the second episode, Rob “Boston Rob” Mariano joined the group and Bob was subsequently expelled after Rob turned on him.
Chrisshell though he was not initiated into drama as Faithful.
“I feel that once you’ve proven yourself a Faithful—if you’ve done it—you also have to work twice as hard to dispel suspicions that you might be a Traitor. It’s a tough game because you have to time it and thread the needle perfectly,” she noted. “So of course it’s easy for me to say, ‘But I also wish I’d been just a little bit more vocal when I have that suspicion.’
The Sunset for sale the star regretted about not talking anymore. “There were times when I was right about someone and I told a few people,” she noted. “And obviously I either brought it up (and it didn’t go anywhere). It’s frustrating when you know you were right about someone and you’re like, ‘Oh, I should have been louder.'”
Inspired by a Dutch series Traitors (which previously led to the popular British version), Traitors brings together celebrities, especially reality TV stars from various franchises – including Survivor, Big Brother, Real Housewives and others – because they compete mafia-style game up to $250,000.
Besides Chrishell, season 3 features Wells Adams, Gabby Windey, Ciara Miller, Jeremy Collins, Carolyn, Tony Vlachos, Bob the Drag Queen, Britney Haynes and Danielle. Bob Harper, Dylan Efron, Lord Ivar Mountbatten, Sam Asghari and Nikki Bella made up the rest of the group with later additions Boston Rob, Wes Bergmann and Derrick Levasseur.
While Chrishell had practice in the space of reality televisionshe still dealt with a lot of surprises Traitors.
“Hours of filming Traitors they are only so long and you don’t sleep. At least you can sit back and glam up Selling Sunset. But then they go after your personal life,” she joked. “Even though I wasn’t asleep and my phone wasn’t on (Traitors), I’d still rather someone come after me that way and not my real family and friends. Selling Sunset is more stressful.”
Chrishell went on to share an unexpected behind-the-scenes look filming details Traitorssaying: “I’d die to have glam at the castle, but (the host) Alan Cumming doesn’t allow us to have glam in the castle. We shoot from about 8 until he had to be ready to go. I think I got home no later than 2am.”
She continued: “Then you have challenges and you have to hurry up and change. So obviously I absolutely love the experience and it’s one of those things where you’re just dying not to leave. So I love that about the game and everyone would be heartbroken if he left. But that being said, your body is also so tired.”
New episodes Traitors will be published on Peacock Thursdays until March 6.
