Christine Brown, Janelle Brown talk about relationship with Meri, Robyn Brown

Two stars from TLC’s Sister’s Wives they reveal their relationship status with their other former sisters.

During the last season Sister’s WivesFans have seen the Brown family continue to fall apart Christine Brown, Janelle Brown and Mary Brown they left the home they once shared with their husband Cody Brown and his wife Robyn Brown.

Now the women are no longer involved in a polygamous relationship and instead have moved on to their own separate lives. The only sister who remains married to Kody is Robyn.

During a recent episode of “Rogue Energy podcast iHeart, Christine and Janelle, who have remained friends and still consider themselves “family” despite leaving Kody, opened up about their relationship with Meri and Robyn.

Christine Brown opened up to Janelle Brown about her future with Kody Brown — and the family as a whole — on the latest episode of Sister Wives. Christine, 51, sat down with Janelle, 54, on Sunday, October 22, to reflect on their highs and lows with Kody, 54, as a polygamist (…)

“I haven’t spoken to Meri or Robyn in years and it’s funny,” Christine revealed. “We’ll just leave it at that. I don’t need to build a relationship with them.”

After marrying her husband, David Woolleyin October 2023, Christine said that while Janelle attended the party, Meri and Robyn did not.

“The great thing about being older when you’re getting married is that you only get to invite the people you really want,” Christine continued.

“There are no mandatory invitations to some Uncle Bob or Uncle Jed, but you say, ‘I really don’t want him there.’ It will be blah, blah, blah. It always does blah, blah, blah. We didn’t have to,” Christine said on the podcast. “We really only invited our closest friends to our wedding.

“And you were one of our closest friends,” Janelle said. “I’m not friends with Kody, Meri, or Robyn, so I didn’t have to. I only had to invite who I wanted.”

As for Janelle, she said she “had some interactions with Meri” and Kody over a property the three of them owned.

“I think she was really happy,” Janelle said of Meri. “She lived her own life. Do you know what I mean? So we worked cohesively to resolve this property situation, which was nice.”

“I had no interaction with Robyn,” Janelle continued. “I wasn’t looking for her. I don’t really overlap her in any part of my life.’

Janelle added that she’s thrilled to be in control as she moves on, and Christine says she’s finally found the teammate she’s been longing for in her new husband.

But as the Brown families go their separate ways, Kody’s relationship with the children he shares with Janelle, Meri and Christine has suffered.

During the latest episode Sister’s WivesKody said he refuses to “cut off” wife Robyn to have a relationship with his other children.

“My kids will always be my kids and the door will always be open for them,” he admitted, adding that his kids need to take the first step toward rebuilding their relationship. “He has to go through that door.

“I’m going to reach for it, but I’m going to hold this hand that’s next to me, and I’m not going to let go of that hand,” he said, referring to Robyn. “I will not cut off Robyn to have a relationship with my children.

As for Christine and Janelle’s children, they agreed on the podcast that they know they have “two moms” in them, calling their families a “success” given how closely they raised them in their plural marriage.
