SZA revealed that she is about to embark on a 10-day vow of silence in India as her debut film One of those days is released
The singer and songwriter (real name Solána Imani Rowe) shared her enthusiasm movie launch before the vow of silence was sounded via an Instagram post on Friday, January 17.
“Man listen. I’m in India and in 7 hours my phone will be taken away for a 10 day vow of silence😭 but I COULDN’T MISS RELEASE DAY!!” SZA, 35, wrote. “I swear to God it was the most unique experience of my entire life!”
Refers to her producer Issa Rae and costar Keke PalmerSZA added, “When I signed on to do this movie, I literally wasn’t thinking about one thing other than ‘damn, I love Issa and Keke, what an honor.’ I didn’t think about how I was actively on tour and didn’t have time to rehearse or prepare, I didn’t think about how I had the luxury of finishing or actually having to be in front of the camera anytime 😂😭 (like duh, dummies. ) It sounds crazy but I just love the respect and admiration these women have!! NOT THOUGHTS JUST YES.”

SZA went on to praise the rest of the team involved, highlighting how they put in so much hard work to achieve the finished product.
“@tiffanyblackness you are the best acting coach I could ever ask for! We literally met on set 😂you whipped me into shape in real time .. ur a 🐐!! Coming out of my shell, facing myself and the world for this film was a transformative experience,” SZA continued.

The “Kill Bill” singer. he continued joking, “You guys are crazy to cast someone with no acting experience 😂but damn!!! I CAN NEVER THANK YOU ENOUGH FOR YOUR PATIENCE TRUST AND UNDERSTANDING. I need you both to know that this has changed my life.”
