The Kansas City Chiefs gave a subtle nod to the Mahomes family and their newest addition ahead of the NFL team’s first playoff game of the season.
“QB1 looks golden,” Chiefs published on X on Saturday, January 18. The post included a video of the rookie quarterback Patrick Mahomes arriving at Arrowhead Stadium as the team prepares to take on the Houston Texans in the divisional round of the playoffs.
Patrick’s wife, Brittany Mahomesshe responded to the sweet tribute, re-sharing the OG post in it Instagram story while typing “Caption” along with one big eyes and one ugly crying emoticon.
Earlier this week, on Monday, January 13, Patrick and Brittany announced the birth of their third child. The pair also shared her unique name.

The couple, who tied the knot in March 2022, are already parents to daughter Sterling and son Bronze, who arrived in February 2021 and November 2022, respectively.
Several celebrities were quick to take to the comments section to congratulate the couple, including Travis Kelcegirlfriend Taylor Swiftwho “liked” the post.
“Uncle Jack loves her so much,” Patrick’s brother, Jack Mahomeshe wrote in his own Instagram story, reposting a set of announcement photos of the pair to Swift’s “Daylight.”
“It was wonderful meeting you today sweetie!” I can’t wait for the memories to come! You have the BEST PARENTS EVER,” he continued in the post. “And the best uncle.
Kelce and Big Brother — and retired Philadelphia Eagles center — Jason Kelce also congratulated the couple via the “Great Heights” podcast’s Instagram account.
The proud mom recently gave fans a peek into Golden’s nursery via an Instagram a post shared on Thursday, January 16th.
“When I found out I was having a girl, I immediately thought about the nursery,” she explained. “I really wanted to be very warm and pink in Golden’s nursery. And then obviously tying in the gold just for her name was really where we got most of the inspiration for her room.”
While the Chiefs made sure to hype Golden’s arrival as the team prepared for its first playoff game of the year, new mom Brittany was MIA (and understandably so, considering she just had a baby). Her BFF, Swift was presenthowever — the pop star arrived at the divisional playoff game in a chic black minidress with a Chanel pearl belt and a matching plaid jacket. She completed her look with a matching Chanel bag and signature red lip.
Earlier this week, Kelce confirmed that Swift would be in the stands. “You know, baby,” he said on the Monday, Jan. 13, episode of ESPN The Pat McAfee Show. “You know it’s playoff football, man.
Kelce also referenced one of Swift’s favorite lyrics and shared his excitement for the game. “I feel fired up,” he remarked. “Feeling 22 again baby. Let’s go.”
