Biden forgives his family in the last minutes of his term

Biden pardoned his brother, James Biden; James’ wife, Sara Jones Biden; his younger sister, Valerie Biden Owens; Owens’ husband, John Owens; and his other brother, Francis Biden.

“The granting of these pardons should not be confused with an acknowledgment that they participated in any crime, nor should the acceptance be misinterpreted as an admission of guilt for any crime,” Biden said in a news release.
