Paris Hilton is remembering what is important in life is losing her Malibu home in Fires in Los Angeles.

Hilton, 43, took to Instagram on Sunday, Jan. 19, to share a video of her son Phoenix, 2, snuggled up in a blanket next to the family’s two dogs.

The clip, which zoomed in on the youngster’s face and captured her pups Diamond and Baby lounging next to him, came with the text, “Take a moment to relax with a sleepy Pheeny, Diamond and Baby,” written on it.

The mother of two children, who also shares a daughter, London, 1, with her husband Carter Rheumhe captioned the footage with a heartfelt message. “Some shots of sleepy Pheeny and puppies for your feed 🧘🏼‍♀️🩷 With everything going on around us, sometimes we need an adorable reminder to take a mindful moment for ourselves 🥹 #SlivingMom,” Hilton wrote. (The term “Sliving” combines “killing” and “living,” a word coined by Hilton.)

The post comes after Hilton confirmed via the social media platform on January 9 that she watched her “Malibu home burn to the ground” on live television. Detailing the experience at the time, she wrote, “This house was the place where we built so many precious memories. It is where Phoenix took its first steps and where we dreamed of building lifelong memories with London.🥹.”

A devastated Hilton gained remarkable perspective at the time, continuing: “While the loss is devastating, I am grateful that my family and pets are safe. My heart and prayers go out to every family affected by these fires. To all the people who have lost their homes, their memories and their beloved pets. I ache for those still at risk or grieving greater losses. The devastation is unimaginable.”

Hilton has maintained a positive outlook on the devastation of the LA wildfires, which have affected a number of celebrities after it broke out on January 7 in the wake of a windstorm, lending a helping hand to displaced animals despite her personal heartbreak.
