“It would be great if he performed like him,” Weber, 63, told the exclusive My Weekly of Daly while promoting Season 10 Chicago Med.
The actor teased that in his dream scenario, Daly “suddenly finds himself in Chicago and I have to operate on him. And he keeps saying, ‘God, you remind me of someone,'” she alludes to their past connection.
Weber joked that no matter who Daly played the hypothetical WITH In the episode, his character, Dr. Archer, “had to undergo some embarrassing surgery like a colonoscopy.”

“There are much more subtle aspects to his staying,” Weber said of Archer’s decision not to leave the emergency department after successfully saving Sharon Goodwin (S. Epatha Merkerson) life during the midseason premiere earlier this month.
The actor noted that even though Archer is staying, that doesn’t mean it’s going to be smooth sailing. “This incident is really affecting him and affecting him emotionally,” Weber said, referring to Goodwin, who nearly died on the operating table.
He added that while Archer’s job is secured for now, he will have “some surprises going forward” in his personal life.
Weber said Our that Archer’s “connection” with fellow doctor Hannah Asher (Jessy Schram) will also be a large part of the remaining episodes of Season 10.
He called Archer a “fatherly or brotherly” figure to Hannah. “There’s something there that he’s not used to, that he hasn’t really experienced with her,” Weber said.
He concludes that Archer and Asher’s bond is complicated, especially now that Asher is romantically involved with Dr. by Mitch Ripley (Luke Mitchell). “He wants her to be happy, but he also feels protective of her,” Weber revealed.
