Tamar Braxton is heading back to television – and this time she’s teamed up with her mother, Evelyn Braxtonalso known as “Ms. E.”
In the first trailer on CLEO TV’s Cooking with Tamar and Mrs. E, Tamar cooks her special recipes, including a chicken alfredo that will steal every man’s heart.
“Some men are just fine if you make them (a) little chicken alfredo.” They will never leave your house!” Tamar said as she prepared the food.
“Finally, after 10 years, my mother and I are happy to introduce you to this amazing project where you and your family can become our family and share recipes and stories and have fun in the kitchen like we used to, once upon a time,” Tamar shared with My Weekly in an exclusive statement.
Set to premiere in March, the show centers on the Braxtons and their family values stories from the years — expect the tea to be spilled.
The official logline reads: “From soulful recipes to heartfelt conversations, Tamar and Mrs. E keep it real—and fun by creating an experience that feels like an intimate family reunion! They open the doors to their Braxton family kitchen to celebrate life, laugh and inspire fans with stories and flavors that honor their culture, family and resilience. Be sure to tune in for the perfect mix of spices and smiles that will keep you coming back for seconds.”
The Braxton’s made their reality TV debut Braxton Family Values in 2011, which aired for seven seasons on WE tv. The cast included the Braxton sisters, Thrace Braxton, Trina Braxton, Tony Braxton, Towanda Braxton and Tamar together with mom Evelyn and a family friend, Hill Harper.
Cheers to their new journey on TV, the Braxtons say, “I’m not over you. I’m not, I’m not beneath you. I’m right here.”
Tamar then adds, “Everyone, come on in, we’re in the kitchen, so let’s cook.”
