WASHINGTON (Reuters) – U.S. President Donald Trump on Monday signed an executive order delaying a ban on the use of the short-form video platform TikTok that was scheduled to expire on January 19.
Asked what the TikTok order does, Trump said “it just gives me the right to sell it or shut it down” … “and we’ll make that decision”.
In a presidential action, Trump ordered the attorney general to take no action on TikTok for 75 days.
