“It was said everywhere that I was trying to get Lisa Vanderpump back. The (Real) Housewives of Beverly Hills,” revealed Cohen, 56 during Tuesday, January 21, part his SiriusXM radio show Andy Cohen live.
Cohen, who is an executive producer on RHOBAdenied starting the rumors and insisted that Vanderpump, 64, has better things to do than pick up her diamond again.
“Let me reiterate my sincere love for Lisa Vanderpump, but I don’t know where the rumor came from,” he told listeners. “I can’t see her coming back to that show.
Lisa Vanderpump is never shy about throwing shade at her former co-stars. During a Tuesday, June 18, appearance on the “Not Skinny But Not Fat” podcast, Vanderpump, 63, was asked which of the three Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars she’d rather be stranded on a desert island with. Cohen cohost John Hill agreed with his assessment, adding, “I don’t know why it should be a rumour. He doesn’t have to come back.”
Hill explained that the Los Angeles series “doesn’t need” Vanderpump back. “He has his own things,” he concluded.
Cohen hinted that the current cast wouldn’t exactly get along with Vanderpump. “She and Dorit (Kemsley) and Kyle (Richards) they’re, you know, I think they’re kind of friends with her Garcelle (Beauvais)he said and paused.
The Bravo host said he doesn’t think Vanderpump “has any desire” to do so. work with RHOBA stars and “have no desire to communicate with her”.
Vanderpump was part of the original cast RHOBA when it premiered in 2010 alongside Kyle, 56, and her sister Kim Richards as well as Taylor Armstrong, Camille Grammer and Adrienne Maloof.
Vanderpump was a staple of the series for nine seasons before her departure in 2019 — and her drama with Kyle was heavily featured. (Kyle is still on RHOBAwhile Vanderpump starred on the show’s spinoffs The Vanderpump Rules, The Vanderpump Villa and others over the years.)

During his final season RHOBAVanderpump got into an argument with several castmates. At the time, she was accused of forcing her Vanderpump Dog staff to talk about Kemsley’s adopted dog Lucy ending up in a kill shelter.
Kyle initially remained neutral, but eventually questioned whether Vanderpump had leaked the story to the press, which resulted in Kyle being kicked out of her home.
While PuppyGate derailed their friendshipCohen said that Kyle and Vanderpump had a joke between them who pays the check when they cross paths.
“I love that it’s like once a year that Kyle runs into Vanderpump somewhere and they send each other their bill or drinks,” Cohen recalled on Tuesday. “I think Vanderpump either paid Kyle’s bill once or sent her the bill.
The producer admitted that he “may have misinterpreted the story”, but believes that the former friends know how to treat each other when they are in the same place.
“They’re always funny (interactions),” Cohen added. “It seems like when they run into each other in public, they have a little bit of shade between them, which I appreciate.
