Brad Womack shares the last time he reached out to ex Emily Maynard

Brad Womack revealed that he got in touch with his ex-fiancée Emily Maynard “once” after their breakup.

“I’m a very, very respectful guy when it comes to situations and when someone’s in a relationship,” Womack, 52, said Monday. “Almost Famous” podcast. “I remember when I heard she was getting married, I reached out and said, ‘Hey, I’m honestly happy for you.’

Womack claimed that Maynard’s Marriage on Tyler Johnson in 2014 was “exactly what she wanted”. (Maynard, 38, and Jones welcomed children Jennings, Gibson, Gatlin, Nola and Jones in 2015, 2016, 2017, 2020 and 2022. She is also the mother of daughter Ricki, 19, which she shared with her deceased fiancé Ricky Hendrick.)

“She wanted a wedding, a beautiful family, and she has it all and then some,” Womack said.

Womack called Maynard “extremely captivating” and claimed that “she is pure to the core, just an extraordinary human being”.

“She’s a little elusive,” Womack said. “I don’t think he needs much. And I mean, in that complementary kind of way where I think I’m kind of sold out, I’ll do anything. I’m kidding.”

Womack said he admires the way Maynard “carries himself,” noting that “what you see is what you get.”

Womack popped the question to Maynard during season 15 Bachelorwhich aired in 2011. Months after the finale aired, the couple called off their engagement in June 2011. Maynard became Bachelor in 2012 and accepted a proposal from Jeff Holm. Maynard and Holm announced their separation in October 2012.

“We realized really quickly that we were two different people once we got back into the real world,” Womack said Monday. “I think I’m a bit harsh and she’s extremely refined. I say this again in a complementary way. And looking at her from the outside, looking in and seeing the life she’s created and built, I couldn’t be happier.”

While Womack said his time with Maynard was “short,” he vented that he “really enjoyed” his time with her. Womack added, “He’s got a pure soul, you know what I mean? I thoroughly enjoyed my time with her. Unfortunately, things don’t work out and here we are.’

Since her split with Maynard, Womack has been tight-lipped about her relationship. January 1. Womack launched hard romance with a woman named Gabriella.

“We have a lot of fun together. He’s a naturally kind human being,” he blurted out. “I’m really happy. We’re really happy together now.”
