Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards’ daughter Lola was baptized

Charlie Sheen and Denise Richards‘daughter Lola Sheen opens up about his spiritual journey.

Lola, 19, revealed on Wednesday, January 22 that she recently got baptized after turning to Christ amid a difficult time in her life.

“When I was at my deepest depression, there was a moment when I realized I had hit rock bottom. I felt so lost and hopeless and just doing what I could to make it to the next day,” Lola captioned a series of photos from her baptism via Instagram.

“I had just accepted that my life was going to be like this forever and I thought I would never have a genuine laugh again. Until I met not only my Savior, but also my best friend Jesus,” she continued. “I can’t explain it other than it was supernatural, but Jesus met me right where I was and became my sunshine forever. I began to trust Jesus with my life when He chose me when no one else did and loved me when I didn’t feel worthy of love. He gave me light when I couldn’t find my own and delivered me from darkness.

Lola went on to detail her recent health issues, including “struggling with severe anxiety”, and said that turning to religion has helped her find “peace”.

“Now I’m laughing again, in places where I used to cry. Jesus fulfilled his promise to make me new and completely renewed my mind. Jesus is the only reason I am here today and what makes my life worth living,” she wrote.

Lola added: “I decided to get baptized at the beginning of this year because it was only the strength of Jesus that made it through this year and I am so happy to go into it next year after publicly declaring Jesus as my Saviour. I am saved forever by His grace, through Faith.”

“Thank you Jesus for everything, I love you and I hope you are proud of me,” she concluded.

Lola is the youngest of Sheen and Richards’ two daughters. She has an older sister, Themselves20.

In December, Richards, 53, shared the details her new reality show with her daughters – Sami, Lola and adopted daughter Eloise (13) and her husband, Aaron Phypers.

“It’s a big look into our family,” Richards said My Weekly exclusively about her new show, Denise Richards and the Wild Things. “We’re finishing everything.” I’m excited, but I’m also like, ‘Oh my God, everyone’s going to see my family.'”

Richards added that fans should not expect the new series to be similar Denise Richards: It’s complicatedwhich took place between 2008 and 2009 and when her children were much younger. Although Eloise was not yet born when the show originally aired, Richards said she was “the easiest to shoot” this time around.

“I’m not perfect and they’re going to see that I make mistakes,” Richards continued. “Our family is by no means perfect, but hopefully they can relate to some of the things our family goes through.”
