Julia Fox he thinks The Real Housewives of New York City she needs a shake-up – and she’s just the person to do it.
The model and actress, 34, revealed on Wednesday, January 22 at Watch what happens live with Andy Cohen after the show to join the long-running Bravo franchise. She also wants another familiar face to join her.
“You know what, I’d do a season and see how it goes,” Fox told the host Andy Cohen when he asked if she would consider joining the cast. “I just have to shake it up a bit.
The topic of conversation came up after Fox recommended Cohen, an executive producer Real Housewives franchise — the cast of a convicted felon Anna Delvey on the NYC iteration.
“I love her. She is an icon. She is funny. He has a very dry sense of humor,” Fox complimented 34-year-old Delvey before having a sudden brainwave.
“Put it on RHONY!” Fox excitedly told Cohen, before adding, “Put me on RHONY!”
The idea suited the colleague well WWHL guest Bronwyn Newportone of the stars The Real Housewives of Salt Lake City. “Chaos! Give them both please!” Newport was thrilled.
Current cast RHONY includes Jenna Lyons, Change Hassan, Brynn Whitfield, Jessel Tank, Sai De Silva, Erin Lichy and Racquel Chevremont.
During the Tuesday, January 21, season 15 finale, Brynn and Ubah got into an explosive fight which threatened to break up the group. Brynn claimed that she had privately disclosed to Ubah that she had been sexually assaulted in the past, which Ubah denied knowledge of. Most of their colleagues supported Ubah and accused Brynn of lying.
“Brynn, I love her, but she kind of lost me this season,” Fox weighed in on Wednesday’s episode WWHL. “She’s really kind of demonic,” she added of the season finale, while Cohen agreed the episode was “very dark.”
In an interview with Rolling Stone On Wednesday, Brynn stood by her version of events. “It’s not right to assume that everyone remembers everything you say all the time and then hold them accountable for it,” Brynn explained to the publication. “I’m sure I said it, but when someone is yelling into the phone, the other person can’t necessarily hear them. …I know what I said and I know I said it.”
