OpenAI can review the agent tool for users on the $200/month Pro plan


We can see OpenAI’s agent tool, Operatorwas quickly released. The changes to ChatGPT’s codebase indicate that it will be available as a preliminary research preview for users on the Operator’s $200 Pro subscription plan.

The changes are not yet visible to the public, but a user passing through X Choi saw these updates in ChatGPT’s client-side code. TechCrunch also identified the same references to Operator on the OpenAI website.

Here are three interesting facts we saw:

  • There are numerous references to operator.chatgpt.com URL. This URL is currently redirecting to the main site chatgpt.com web page.
