The New Cast of Invincible Season 3 is a Pop-Culture Crossover Extravaganza

In keeping with creator Robert Kirkman’s promise not to keep fans waiting, Invincible revealed several stellar additions to it the highly anticipated third season Ahead of its February premiere on Prime Video.

He joined Steven Yeun and JK Simmons Invincible season three is (deep breath) Aaron Paul and Jonathan Banks Breaking Bad fame; Shangchi himself, Simu Liu; Kate Mara (she was Sue Storm Fantastic Four movie we’re not talking about); Blue bug and Cobra Kai star Xolo Maridueña, the incomparable John DiMaggio (Futurama)Tzi Ma (Mulan)Doug Bradley (Pinhead Hellraiser) and Christian Convery (Sweet Tooth, Monkey).

Rather than go Invincible‘s pop-culture crossover event-worthy cast announcement, Prime Video has also revealed who will star in Kirkman’s best-selling graphic novels as a new cast of Hollywood actors. Here’s a quick rundown of who’s who, their superpowers and guardians of the world, and their allegiance to the Invincible himself, Mark Grayson.

• Powerplex (Paul): A new villain with an emotional past, Powerplex absorbs energy, allowing him to use an enemy’s power against them. And this enemy is Invincible.
• Becky Duvall (Mara): With a deep hatred for the Invincibles, Becky works with the Powerplex to bring about the justice she believes has been denied.
• Phil (DiMaggio): A serious villain with a serious name and a serious look. He wants the world to stop eating meat. He probably wants other things too. As long as it was taken seriously by someone, it didn’t matter. Please.
• Mr. Liu (Ma): Underneath this elegant exterior, he is the ruthless leader of an international crime syndicate. But this is not all that this mysterious old man is hiding.
• Fightmaster & Dropkick (Maridueña): Fighting for freedom from a troubled future, twins are willing to risk everything in a desperate quest to save their world.
• Oliver Grayson (Convery): Mark’s little brother was a kid when we last saw him, but when you’re half Viltrumite and half Trachan, you grow up REAL fast.
• Multi-Paul (Liu): An elite assassin for Mr. Liu’s secret crime organization, Multi-Paul took the opposite path of his sister Dupli-Kate. But blood is thicker than water…

As they say Invincible is an animated series where villains and heroes alike can bite the dust at any moment, here’s hoping its new cast of characters make their voices heard before the 86ers are in great and brutal fashion. If their deaths happen, we’re sure to throw a memorial party for them, complete with Mark’s classic yellow and blue super suit.

Ahead of today’s cast announcement, Skybound Entertainment and Amazon MGM Studios have confirmed the film’s release dates. Invincible season three: The three-episode animated Prime Video series will premiere on February 6. After that, new episodes air every Thursday until the eighth and final episode on March 13.
