Boxing results: Eric Priest defeats ‘Herc’ Tyler Howard


The undefeated medium weight Eric Priest gave Tyler ‘Herc’ Howard a boxing lesson by winning the ten assaults for the American continental vacancy of the AMB on Thursday night at Commerce Casino in Commerce, California.

Priest, 15-0 (8) defeated ‘Herc’ Tyler Howard, 20-3 (11) in 10 rounds. In the first round of four rounds, Priest’s jab countered Howard. Priest got blood from Howard’s nose at the last minute of the fourth assault.

From the fifth to the tenth, Priest gave Howard a boxing lesson, using his jab perfectly when Howard advanced but could not overcome Priest’s jab. The scores were 100-90, 100-90 and 100-90.

The referee was Ray Corona.

The left-handed feather Leonardo ‘Bazooka’ Sánchez, 8-0 (6), impressed, defeating Joseph ‘Jaguar’ Cruz, 10-12 (6) in six unequal rounds.

In the first four assaults, everything was Zurdo Sánchez having Cruz in defense with a buckwater. In the fifth assault, Sánchez took blood from Cruz’s nose.

Referee Rudy Baragán. All the scores were 60-54.

The Super Welter Jordan ‘The Patriot’ Panthen weight, 11-0 (9) defeated DeAundre ‘dixianimal’ Pettus, 12-4 (7) in 10 assaults.

In the first assault, Panthen, the aggressor, did well but suffered a cut in the hair line due to a head of heads. From the second to the sixth assault, Pettus recovered well, counteracting Panthen, but not well enough to win the assaults. Both had moments in the eighth assault, with Panthen surpassing Pettus.

The ninth and tenth rounds were round trip, and Panthen suffered an abrasion around his left eye at the end.

The referee was Thomas Taylor. Scores 100-90, 98-92 and 97-93.

Super Welter Grant Flores, 8-0 (6), arrested David Lobo Ramírez, 17-4 (12) at 2:59 of the second assault of a six-round scheduled.

In the second assault, in the final seconds, Flores broke Ramírez’s nose, demolishing him for an 8 account, which caused the referee Iván Guillermo dismissed him.

The 18-year-old Superligero Cayden Griffiths, 3-0 (3), arrested Marc Misiura, 3-7-1 (3) at 1:43 of the second round of a four round program.

In the second assault, Griffiths connected a strong left to the body and knocked down Misiura, who got up in 9, but referee Rudy Baragan dismissed him.

The left-handed gallow Jordan ‘Brazen Bull’ Fuentes, 3-0 (0) defeated Brandon ‘Uriel’ Badillo, 0-3-1 (0) in four assaults.

In the first two assaults, Zurdo Fuentes countered the aggressive Badillo. In the third assault, Fuentes demolished Badillo with a right -wing hook in the last fifteen seconds for an 8 -story account Iván Guillermo.

All the scores were 40-35, 40-35 and 40-35.
