Popular artist Lucy Dacus recently announced that she is donating people looking for transgender medical operations in an apparent attempt to return to President Trump’s. Executive orders With respect to gender and transgender people.

Dacus’s position occurred two days after President Trump signed an executive order, entitled “defending women from the extremism of gender ideology and restoring biological truth to the federal government.”

A user, Carter Tucker, asked Dacus to help pay the debt of a recent gender procedure.
“I underwent my surgery in November, but I still have about 4k that I owe to the hospital. Anything helps! Thank you for doing this, Lucy!” The user wrote.
Another shared a Gofundme page for his friend, saying: “My friend Patrick Abt underwent his best surgery!”
Dacus, 29, came out as queer in 2016. In addition to her own pro-LGBTQ activism, she and her bandmates “Boygenius”, Phoebe Bridgers, Julien Baker, write music exploring LGBTQ songs and together he has a LGBTQ Legion fans
During its 2023 tour, the band led a song “F — Ron Desantis” on the Coachella stage to protest the Anti-LGBTQ law that the Governor of Florida signed.
