Lewber confirmed on Wednesday, January 22 that she and Kennedy they were no longer together. Hours earlier, they learned that Kennedy would not face charges after his arrest.

“Thank you all for your support and kindness. I am glad that the prosecutors decided not to file against James because I never wanted criminal charges,” Lewber wrote via her Instagram stories. “We had an argument outside his home about him drinking again, but I wasn’t physically hurt.

She continued: “We are no longer together but I will always support James and wish him the best with his sobriety and recovery. Thank you for your understanding.”

Lewber and the British DJ shared a space after the incident and she even moved out of their shared home.

After Hilton left the party, a neighbor heard Kennedy and Lewber arguing outside their home. Los Angeles Police Department officers were later released to break up the alleged altercation, and Kennedy was arrested for domestic violence. He was released within hours of posting bail.

After an investigation, all charges were dropped.

“I have just been informed by the Burbank City Attorney’s Office that no charges will be filed against James Kennedy,” said Kennedy’s attorney, Scott Leemon. Our on Wednesday. “I want to thank them for their thorough and professional review of this matter, including my client.”

The statement continued: “Their thorough investigation confirmed what we have been saying from the beginning – there were no grounds for any charges to be brought against Mr. Kennedy. James is grateful to have this matter behind him and looks forward to continuing to focus on his sobriety and his DJ career.”

Kennedy has been honest ever since prefers his sobriety.

“I am determined to make meaningful changes in my life,” he said he wrote via Instagram Story last month. “I take time to focus on my sobriety, personal growth and being present for my loved ones. Going through challenging times is not easy, but I am determined to learn, grow and move forward with an incredible support system around me.”
