Tesla’s redesigned Model Y will arrive in North America in March for $60,000

Tesla has announced that the redesigned Model Y SUV will arrive in the US, Canada and Mexico in March with a starting price of less than $60,000.

The news comes just two weeks after Tesla introduced the new-look Model Y and said it will arrive in China and other Asian markets in March. Thursday’s announcement means the company is effectively launching the updated SUV worldwide at the same time – a departure from the several-month gap between the car’s launch in Asia and North America. The Model 3 sedan is being refreshed in late 2023 and early 2024.

The redesigned Model Y comes at a crucial time for Tesla, which will deliver fewer cars in 2024 than it did in 2023.
