The FBI announced on Friday the arrest of a suspect of the murder of the American border patrol agent David “Chris” Maland near the border between Vermont and Canada.
Teresa Youngblut, 21, resident of the state of Washington, was arrested after Monday’s fatal shooting, according to the FBI office in Albany, New York.
“The Federal Prosecutor’s Office of the Vermont district accused Youngblut of aggression against a federal law agent,” he said. “Our hearts remain with our partners of the US border patrol sector. UU. While they regret this tremendous loss.”
Maland, 44, was reached by shooting during a traffic stop at the 91 interstate between Newport and Orleans, Vermont.

He was also a K-9 dog manager and previously served as a border patrol agent in Texas, near the southern border, Malend’s family told Associated Press.
