The former Junior Junior weight champion of the OMB, Tim Tszyu, could face Joey Spencer in April in Australia. This would be a trusted reinforcement for Tszyu, 29 (24-2, 17 kos), who has lost his last two fights, going 0-2 In 2024.
Spencer would be a return fight for Tszyu to prepare it for a possible clash against Keith Thurman. That is whether Thurman is victorious in his March 12 fight against Brock Jarvis in Sydney. Tszyu was supposed to fight with the former WBB welter champion and Amb Thurman last year on March 30, but retired from the fight with a biceps injury.
Before the disasters of last year, Tszyu would be seen as an overwhelming favorite against Spencer (19-1, 11 ko), but not anymore. That should be seen as a 50-50 fight because Tszyu has shown that it is unable to make simple adjustments during combat.
And Rafael information That tszyu vs. Spencer is possible in the first quarter of 2025.
This is a must win for Tszyu because if you cannot overcome Joey Spencer, 24, she needs to seriously think about retirement because it is not a higher level of 154 pounds. It was destroyed in seven rounds by Jesús Ramos on March 25, 2023.
Since then, Spencer has defeated three non -classified name fighters to build a little. He has not yet shown that he is operating worldwide, but it seems that it is good enough to be selected as the Tszyu fight in April.
The Murtazaliev disaster
Tszyu was erased in three rounds by the Junior Junior Junior Champion of the FIB Bakhram Murtazaliev on October 19 last year in a shameful loss of four spills in the Caribbean Royale in Orlando, Florida.
Murtazaliev revealed after the fight he was fighting with a wounded right arm and was forced to use his left. That turned out to be more than enough, since he repeatedly dropped Tszyu with that blow until the referee finally stirred him in the third round.
Bakhram’s main weapon is his powerful right hand. You can only imagine how the fight would have been if I had that working for him. Tszyu may not have left the first round.
Tszyu lost to the Fundora Sebastian 6.5 ″ for a divided decision of 12 rounds on March 30 of last year. Upon entering that fight, there was talk of Tszyu potentially fighting Terence Crawford in what would have been a fight of a lot of money, but Fundora ruined everything.
