TikTok stars Campbell “Pookie” Puckett and Jett Puckett have reason to celebrate.
The couple shared an update on Campbell’s health via TikTok on Friday, January 25 following her recent health scare earlier this month.
“As many of you know, Pookie had surgery about two weeks ago to remove a pre-cancer that we knew about for months,” Jett, 34, said in the video. “We got the results back from the doctor and the lab. They were able to confirm that they got all the pre-cancer out.”
He added: “I am so grateful that my wife is now well and the mother of my child is now well. She was the most incredible mother.” Campbell, 32, gave birth the couple’s first childdaughter Paloma, in October 2024. In Friday’s video, the TikTok star gushed, “I love being a mom.”
Jett added: “He loves it, I think, even more than we could ever imagine. Every time Paloma is placed in Campbell’s arms, Campbell lights up like a Christmas tree. It’s the most magical thing, I really can’t believe it.’
@campbellhuntpuckett Live in faith not fear❤️ I love you!! #grateful #love #few #pookie
The couple initially rose to fame when Jett called his wife “Pookie” in one of his daily videos in January 2024. Since then, Campbell has amassed over 1 million followers on both TikTok and Instagram. Jett revealed earlier this month that Campbell did underwent the procedure and that the doctor was “cautiously optimistic” about her condition.
“I’m so grateful to have this community, you mean so much to us,” Campbell continued. “I don’t know what I did to deserve so many people being so nice to us. There’s one thing I want to share, kind of like a motto I’ve lived by for the last year: ‘Live in faith, not in fear.’”
Jett said he “prayed every day for months” about it, noting that “the doctors didn’t want to do the surgery” when Campbell was pregnant.
“We had to wait nine months,” Jett explained. “During that time, it was possible that it could turn into an actual cancer. Fortunately it didn’t, we managed the delivery (and) at that time we were able to confirm that it didn’t turn into actual cancer.”
He continued: “Once they removed it, the fear was, ‘Did they get it all? Are they going to have to go back in?” We finally got the results back. They got everything – they had what is called a clean margin. It’s such an incredible blessing.”
