While Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Erika Jayne deliberately kept her son Tommy Zizzo Jr.out of the limelight, he has the sweetest things about him.
“My son and I have really come together,” Jayne, 53, said of her son in 2020 after experiencing legal and financial problems following her split. Tom Girardi. “He will be 30 in June. Jesus. I just remember walking around New York with him and I was pregnant with him, but he’s going to be 30. So I ask him what he thinks about things, you know, you have this grown-up perspective and it’s really nice.”
Jayne shares Tommy – a Los Angeles cop – with her ex-husband Thomas Zizzo. The couple divorced in 1992, shortly after Tommy was born.
In 2025, Tommy made headlines after testifying A$AP Rocky’s assault court. Rocky, 36, faces two counts of assault with a semi-automatic firearm in connection with the 2021 shooting. He is accused of firing two shots at Terell Ephron, a childhood friend and former co-worker.
Zizzo was one of the first officers to respond to the scene. Rocky confessed and denied all the charges against him.

He supports her
After splitting from her ex-husband Girardi in November 2020, Jayne revealed that both her ex-husband Zizzo and her son supported her through her own legal and financial ups and downs. “People don’t realize it, but we’re actually pretty tight,” she said of the pair. “They have been very supportive and I am very grateful.
She added that the separation helped her bond with Tommy. “My son and I really came together. He will be 30 in June. Jesus. Defending Him
Zizz’s work as a police officer drew the ire of some people on social media. After one person tweeted that he should be shot in February 2019, Jayne he shot back“This is disgusting.
After a commenter attacked Zizzio again in 2020 about his profession, Jayne insisted her son is a great cop (and person). “My son was raised NOT to be racist,” wrote Jayne, who is from Georgia, in response. “His job is to protect and serve EVERYONE, not just people of his skin color. F–k you and stay off my page.”
She says she was a good mom
Although Jayne admitted she wasn’t a great wife book 2018 A nice mess she insisted she was a good mom. “I knew I was a good mom. I thought I was mature enough to be a wife and mother, but I really wasn’t,” she wrote. “Tommy took it hard. It was constant pressure and hard for both of us to take. We separated when our son was just over 18 months old. I came out of a divorced house. I did what I knew, which was to take my son and leave.”
