Ricky Lake She shared a heartfelt update after her home and several irreplaceable mementos were destroyed in the devastating fires in Los Angeles.

“One of the things that I lost, among all that I lost, but one of the things that was so painful for me (was), I lost the birth videos, my pictures, my album of my home birth to my son,” Lake, 56, he said in a video shared via Instagram on Sunday, January 26.

Lake shares sons Milo, 27, and Owen, 23, with her ex-husband Rob Sussman. Owen’s 2001 birth of water was the subject of the 2008 documentary Lake Business birth.

Lake went on to say that one of the doulas present at the birth, Jennifer Licksonshe reached out to her on Facebook and said she had copies of the photos from 2001.

“She reached out and offered copies of my birth photos,” Lake captioned the video. “One of the many priceless things I lost in the fire. I am so deeply touched by this kind of gesture. ❤. “

In the video, Lake noted, “I haven’t talked to (Lickson), but she reached out and texted me saying she saw I lost the house.” She added, “It’s like the nicest thing anyone has ever done for me. I can’t believe I can have them back.

Lake’s Malibu The home was destroyed at the Pacific Palisades Wildfire on January 7th. She and husband Ross Birmingham He evacuated his home after exhausting all efforts to save him.
