The Democratic Senator of Pennsylvania, John Fetterman New York Criminal Judgment Against President Donald Trump was “politically motivated.”
While arguing Trump and the controversial indults of former President Joe Biden, Fetterman said: “I also agree that the trial in this city, in New York, was politically motivated, that would not have been prosecuted if being another person.”
Coanfrerion Sunny Hostin seemed surprised and brought the conversation after: “Only to clarify, did he mean that the case of 34 positions in which Donald Trump was convicted of several financial crimes was politically motivated here in New York?”
“I discovered that when the judicial system will be assembled and points to political enemies to obtain political profits, I think it is inappropriate,” Fetterman confirmed.
“I think that our collective trust in this very important institution degrades, whether a Democrat who chases a Republican or a Republican who chases a Democrat,” he said. “I like to call it strikes and balls, but the judicial system must remain impartial. I mean, that is really the cornerstone of our society.”
Trump was sentenced to an unconditional high in early January after being guilty for the charges of falsifying commercial records derived from the investigation of the District Prosecutor of Manhattan Alvin Bragg.
Fetterman also responded to accusations that his views and policies have changed to the right, saying that it would be “a fairly terrible republican.”
Hostin asked about his “commitment” to the Democratic Party considering his recent decision to join Truth Social and his views on issues such as fracking and immigration.
Fetterman also met with Trump in Mar-a-Lago before his second inauguration on January 20, tell Fox News That he is a senator “for all Pennsilvanians”, not just the Democrats.
He told “the view” that he had a “Positive” meeting with Trump and found him as “friendly” and “cordial.”
Some of these actions have fed online speculation that Fetterman can change the affiliation of his party someday.
The pensylvania senator told “the opinion” that he Reject the pellets Given by Trump to the defendants of January 6 and has registered that he will not join the Republican Party.
“I would be a quite terrible republican because, you know, the pro-election immigration, pro-lgbtq, you know … I do not think it would fit well. Then, I am not going to change my party and if I am going to do, I will appear.
“Just look at my votes. Look at the things that I have not changed in some way,” he added later.
Fetterman supported Vice President Kamala Harris by president during the 2024 electoral cycle, but was one of the few democrats who spoke publicly about Trump winning strong support among voters, especially in his native state of Battlefield of Pennsylvania.
Trump finally won Pennsylvania, which served as a key state in him ensuring the elections in general. After victory, Fetterman He said it was a “serious flexion” And he punished democratic rhetoric before the elections he tried to launch Trump as a “fascist.”
Fetterman is still excited about Stefanik for the UN ambassador: “It was always a hard yes”
“I love people who will vote absolutely for Trump,” said Fetterman. “They are not fascists. They are not those things. I believe part of the vernacular language for voters.
