Patrick, son of the Late Academy Award, spoke with Fox Business Network about how the sudden loss of the house, with which Ryan shared with Ryan Life partner Farrah Fawcett – He has impacted his family and explained why they cannot rebuild the “legendary” house.
“The house that my father bought and built since 1972, created so many wonderful memories for me and my family,” Patrick said. “My sister tatum, my brother graiffin, my younger brother, Redmond, my dad, Ryan and Farrah. I mean, we are talking, I met Steve McQueen in that house. Van Morrison walked through the house. Brad Pitt, hitting the Pool in that house.

While Patrick’s memories are forever with him, he is not sure if he can rebuild the family home.
“I’m not sure I can live here,” he admitted. “I don’t know about insurance. How much will it cost to rebuild a house there? … we had two, you know, original houses that were smaller by our side. Are they going to build large giant houses? And it’s simply, you know, no, no I see how, I do not see that I have the media and the ability to rebuild and live more in Malibu, unfortunately. “

Despite the unfortunate circumstances, Patrick said his father would probably have used humor to move forward.
“My father had a perverse sense of humor, so he could have made a joke to find a way of laughing at the most tragic situation,” he admitted. “It was very, very strong. It would probably have been one of those who wanted to stay in the house. And, you know, we would have had to drag it, literally.”
