The NBA announced on Friday that Stewart would be suspended for the night contest after he collected a sixth flagrant missing point this season.
Stewart collected a flagrant foul, which caused an automatic expulsion on Wednesday after he checked an opponent, Thomas Bryant, when he increased a shot.

Bryant had to be stopped by his teammates, and Stewart almost immediately left the court.
The League announced the suspension, along with a fine of $ 50,000 by Stewart for making “inappropriate and objectable gestures” after its expulsion on Wednesday in the defeat of the Pistons 133-119 against the Pacemakers in Indiana.
The gestures were probably the apparent guns of the fingers that he pointed to the Bank of the pistons.

Stewart entered the game with four flagrant fault points, so the call activated the automatic suspension based on the regular seasonal season protocols of the League.
Despite the suspension, the Pistons still gave Stewart Bobbleheads to 5,000 fans.
The Pistons have been a pleasant surprise this season. His 23-24 record is good for eighth place at the Eastern Conference, which would put them in the game tournament.
