According to the UN, more than 100 prisoners were raped and then burned alive during a Jailbreak in the Congolese of rubber.
Prison masses left the Munzenze prison last Monday, after the fighters of the M23 rebel group began to take care of the city.
Between 165 and 167 women were attacked by male inmates during the Jailbreak, says an internal UN document seen by the BBC.
The report establishes that most women were killed after the inmates set fire to the prison.
The BBC has not been able to verify the reports.
Rubber, an important city of more than one million people, was captured after the M23 backed by Rwanda executed a rapid advance through the east of the DR Congo.
The city immersed itself in chaos, with bodies found in the streets and missiles, according to reports, flying over residential houses.
The images of the Jailbreak last week showed that people fled from the building when the smoke rose in the background. Heavy shots can also be heard.
In Separate video, the people who believe are the escaped prisonersFiled through rubber streets.
More than 2,000 people were killed when the M23 faced the Congolese forces and their allies, said the Dr Congo government.
The UN says that at least 900 people died and almost 3,000 injured. It was not clear why the tolls of the death of the UN and Dr. Congo vary.
Earlier this week, the rebels announced a high fire for humanitarian reasons, however, there have been reports of renewed fighting on Wednesday.
