President Trump made fun of Time magazine on Friday, saying that he didn’t even know he was still in business, after the publication used an image of ELON ALMIZCLE Sitting on the desk solved on its cover.
A journalist asked Trump for his time coverage reaction, which presents Musk sitting in the president’s chair. The cover story headed, “Inside Elon Musk’s War on Washington”, occurs when President Trump’s critics have suggested Musk has too much power since it has the task of leading the efficiency department of the Trump Government (Doge).
“Is Time magazine still in business? I didn’t even know that,” Trump said, since laughter could be heard in the room.

“Elon is doing a great job. He is finding a tremendous fraud, corruption and waste. You see it with the USAID, but you will see it even more with other agencies and other parts of the government. He has a fantastic staff,” Trump added. “I wanted to be able to do this for a long time.”
Musk has sought the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) by taking energetic measures against government spending. Trump said he is satisfied with progress and said that other government agencies will also be affected by Doge.
“The whole issue is a fraud. Very little is put in good use. Every line I look, in terms of events and transactions, is corrupt or ridiculous and we will do it throughout the government, and I think we will be very close to balance budgets for the first time in many years, “Trump said.
“He is doing a very good job,” Trump continued. “I am very happy with that.”
Trump was named Person of the year of Time magazine By 2024. Last month, the magazine’s cover presented Trump cleaning the articles of former President Biden of the Oval Office of the desktop resolved with the headline, “is back.”
Time did not respond immediately to a request for comments for Fox News Digital.
